Venue and Accommodations

The 2nd IEEE VTS Connected and Autonomous Vehicles Summer School @ WPI will be hosted on the main campus of Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), located at 100 Institute Road, Worcester, MA, USA.  Worcester is located approximately 40 miles/64 km west of Boston, 38 miles/61 km east of Springfield, and 40 miles/64 km north of Providence.  Worcester can be easily accessed both regionally, nationally, and internationally via its close proximity to several airports (BOS, PVD, MHT, BDL, ORH), as well as several major interstate highway routes.

Summer School Venue

atwater-kent-labAll lectures and presentations at the The IEEE VTS Connected and Autonomous Vehicles Summer School @ WPI will be conducted in Newall Hall (Room AK116), Atwater Kent Laboratories Building (#4 on WPI Campus Map).  To access Newall Hall, one may enter the Atwater Kent Laboratories Building from the campus entrance located across from the Salisbury Laboratory Building. Signage on the first floor of the Atwater Kent Laboratories Building will direct attendees to Newall Hall.

Campus Parking

Parking on WPI campus is available to all registered attendees requesting this accommodation.  Visitor parking passes will be sent out via email one week prior to the start of the event.  These passes need to be printed out and displayed clearly on the dashboard of your vehicle.  Failure to display a visitor parking pass, or parking in a lot other than the Park Avenue Parking Lot (immediately below Rooftop Field, see WPI Campus Map) may result in a parking violation ticket and towing.

Guest WiFi

All registered attendees will be provided with guest WiFi access via the WPI network.  Guest WiFi access information will be provided at the start of event.
